USA New Cotton Planting

According to the US Department of Agriculture statistics, until June 29 the US cotton planting new flower was 98%, increasing 4 percent over the previous week; last year 100%; the past five-year average of 100%. Texas seeding rate of 97 percent, two percent behind the same period last year, Southwest cotton overall backwardness, most cotton has been planted completed. To June 29, the new flower bud 35%, increasing 13 percent over the previous week; 34% last year; nearly five-year average of 40%. SOUTH Arkansas cotton bud rate of 82%, increasing 32 percent from the previous week; Southwest Texas cotton bud 23%. To the 29th US cotton boll rate of 5%, which SOUTH Louisiana and southwest to Arizona cotton boll ratios were 17% and 15%. According to report growth of the seedlings, 91% of new flower growth condition is normal (10% excellent, 45% good, generally 36%); abnormal ratio of 9% (8% poor, very poor 1%).
